Previously clapping back at comments about her “sexy” outfit, Ekin-Su told The Sun: “You know what? If you have ‘em flaunt them.

“I mean if you’ve got a nice bum and you look sexy in a unitard, why not. Who cares?”

The outfit paid tribute to Britney Spears’ outfit that she wore in the Toxic music video, as well as paying tribute to her time on ITV’s dating show.

Ekin-Su’s original routine saw her crawling across the ice which was a recreation of her crawling around the Love Island villa during her time on the show.

At the time, Dancing on Ice judge Jayne Torvill told Ekin-Su and Brendyn: “It was very sexy. But what I want more of is the skating.”

Fellow judge Ashley Banjo agreed with the comments, adding: “Skate on your own without holding on to Brendyn, show us what you can do.”

At the time fans were left outraged with the routine, with many taking to social media to brand the performance as “not appropriate” before the television watershed.

Following the routine, Ekin-Su’s boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, who won Love Island with her last summer, sat in the audience and revealed that he “couldn’t wait”’ to get his girlfriend home.

Ekin-Su had a rough time on the figure skating competition, with Davide claiming he was “glad” she had been eliminated from the show.

When Ekin-Su was eliminated, Davide told the Daily Star that his girlfriend was getting too “emotionally involved” in the show and the couple could now look forward to “new things”.

After her elimination, Ekin-Su spoke on the Reddit Talk with Ekin-Su and Joe Garratt, sharing that she felt “strong”.

Davide was in attendance with his girlfriend on Sunday night for the final of Dancing on Ice, which saw former gymnast Nile Wilson and his partner Olivia Smart crowned winners of the show.

Nile and his partner Olivia had been bookies favourites for winning the show since week one and have consistently impressed judges with their routines.

Taking second place was The Only Way is Essex star Joey Essex and his rumoured girlfriend Vanessa Bauer.

Joey gushed over figure skating partner at the end of the competition after the couple had been reportedly dating since rehearsals.
