Ekin-Su recreated her experience inside the villa, including wearing a sparkling outfit that resembled a Love Island bikini.

Dancing on Ice host Holly Willoughby described the routine as the show’s “sexiest ever skate.”

Despite the rave reviews from Holly, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu found herself in next weekend’s skate off against an undecided celebrity.

The reality television star faced mixed reactions from fans with many unhappy that she had been scored so poorly by the judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse.

As well as fans being unhappy about Ekin-Su’s low score, she also faced backlash online with many viewers complaining about her costume.

People took to social media to complain about her racy costume with users complaining that the outfit was “not appropriate” before the 9pm watershed.

Ekin-Su scored the third lowest result of the episode with a combined total of 21.5, just above Patsy Palmer who scored 21 and Michelle Heaton with 19.

Fans were quick to spot nods to her experience inside the Love Island villa, including recreating her infamous crawl through the door.

Ekin-Su braved getting down onto her hands and knees to crawl across the ice during her routine.

The reality star has stayed with her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti since winning Love Island and he was in the audience to cheer on his partner.

Davide appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning (16 January) where he shared his experiences of watching his girlfriend perform.

Davide told Ed Balls and Susanna Reid: “I was in the audience. I watched her live and you know, not because she’s my girlfriend but I believe that she smashed it.

“I was not surprised that she could actually dance on the ice or ice skate because I’ve been following her over the training but what I’ve actually been proud of [is] that she actually entered in the character and that she did a very good performance.

“Then the fact that now she’s in the skate-off, naturally she’s a bit sad. Last night we had a long talk but I know that she knows that she’s a strong woman, she’s very determined, she knows what she wants and I think this now will push her to always, to push herself to be better and better week by week.”

Davide also made a cheeky remark on Sunday night in regards to his girlfriend’s outfit.

Holly Willoughby asked the reality star: “How hot is your girlfriend” with the 27-year-old Italian replying: “I know, I can’t wait to get her home”.

Just last week the Love Island personality’s appearance on the show was called into question when she took to Twitter to announce she was unwell.

Ekin-Su told her followers that she was “very ill” and doctors had ordered the television star to rest.

It appeared that Ekin-Su made a speedy recovery and was able to perform on the first live episode of Dancing on Ice on Sunday.
