Dancing on Ice 2023: Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu hopes to star in Coronation Street or Hollyoaks after ITV series

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has shared her latest career plans following her appearance on Dancing on Ice.
The Love Island winner, 28, from Islington, has revealed that she wants to make a return to acting after her stint on the figure skating competition.

Hide AdShe revealed that she would like to ditch reality television and has set her sights on a soap like Coronation Street or Hollyoaks.
Speaking on the Ekin-Su and Joe Garratt Reddit Talk, the reality star said: "Obviously coming from a background of acting, I would love to get back into that.
“I mean that’s the first thing I want to do as soon as Dancing on Ice has come to an end and I have some free time.
"The first thing I’m gonna do is get myself on an English soap, I would love to do that. I’ve done it in Turkey, why not here, bring it on!"

Hide AdEkin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who has a Turkish background, previously starred in Turkish Soap Opera Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk in 2020, when she played Isil, a London-based photographer.
She also shared the type of role she would like to play, telling the podcast: “Let’s get ourselves into Corrie, Hollyoaks, any of that stuff. I will be happy to play any character, I’m happy to play a serial killer as well.”
The reality star who met her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, 27, on Love Island also revealed that she “doesn’t have any friends left” after appearing on the ITV dating show.
During the Reddit chat, Ekin-Su said she was forced to ditch her former friends after they “sold stories” about her.

Hide AdEkin-Su said: “Don’t change who you are, don’t get caught up in this ego where you think you’re this celebrity so you should act a certain way and belittle people – you shouldn’t.
“We’re all equal, I feel like even the people who clean the toilet, you should respect that person because we’re all the same. Stay humble.
“I lost so many friends coming out, I don’t have any friends left because they sold stories of me.”
She did however find the positives of the situation, adding: “But then you make new friends who understand you.”

Hide AdIt comes as the reality star has faced backlash for her appearance on ITV’s figure skating competition following a “racy” routine.
Her debut skate on Dancing on Ice received over 100 OFCOM complaints about her routine dedicated to her time on Love Island.
On Sunday night’s (22 January) episode of Dancing on Ice, Ekin-Su revealed she had been left upset by the complaints from her previous weekend’s routine.
Speaking to host Holly Willoughby, the reality star said: “I’m not gonna lie, I was really upset over the past two days. I questioned myself and what I had done wrong.

“We’ve been working really hard and I am here today.”
