Peckham’s Finest on ITV2: Everything to know about south-east London’s very own Made in Chelsea

Move over Made in Chelsea, a new reality show has come to town.

Set in the artsy and vibrant pocket of south- east London, Peckham’s Finest follows a diverse and aspirational group of young people from the area living their everyday lives.

The brand-new observational documentary series is brought to ITV2 from the makers of the popular themed singing show The Masked Singer.

From cast members to how to watch it, here is everything you need to know about Peckham’s Finest.

When does it start?

The first episode is due to air at 10pm on Wednesday 20 October and is set to be 45 minutes long.

Peckham’s Finest will air weekly on ITV2. Viewers can also catch up on episodes on ITV Hub.

What is it about?

The series will follow the 10 cast members about their everyday lives, capturing blossoming romances to doomed relationships, new friendships to broken ties and new ventures to everyday dramas.

ITV has said that the series will bring a brand new, exciting and fresh approach that will reimagine the genre for today’s tech savvy TV viewers and reflect the real life of the cast combining filming with content from their social media.

Who are the cast members?

Leading the pack is fashionista and social media star Queen Mojo, who describes herself as big-bellied, bald-headed and a self-lover on her Instagram profile.

Next up are artist duo The Flag Twins, aka Kevin and Karl, who refer to themselves as the Dukes of Peckham in their Instagram biography.

Other cast members that we know of include choreographer and artist Gilly Mu, who is also a member of the dance group FroBacks who appeared on BBC’s Greatest Dancer in 2019 and model and student Isla Loba.

The rest of the cast includes BMX star Tre Whyte - brother of Olympian Kye Whyte - baker and business owner Shanice, DJ Mark Ashley-Dupe, radio host Teeshow and owner of Best of Both Boutique Chantel.

The core cast will be joined by some of their friends and family on the show as well as other Peckham business owners and local celebrities.

What is ITV saying?

Paul Mortimer, ITV’s head of digital channels and acquisitions, said: “Peckham’s Finest marks an exciting new direction for both ITV2 and ITV Hub.

“This precinct-based observational doc series with a talented and diverse cast will appeal to younger viewers both on the channel, and On Demand.

“The series is one of a number of new factual pieces commissioned under the ITV2 brand."
