In our new Live Like a Local series, we ask Londoners to show us around an area they know particularly well, lifting the lid on hidden gems and neighbourhood stalwarts. So your home city actually feels like home, no matter which postcode you’re exploring.

Amy Corbin - who owns four South African restaurants known as the Kudu Collective - shows us round her home neighbourhood of Peckham.

Amy runs her bars and eateries with husband, chef Patrick Williams.

She talks us through the trendy south-east London neighbourhood in LondonWorld’s Live Like A Local series.

“We’ve always loved Peckham because it’s such a melting pot of cultures,” Amy says.

“It’s full of young families and people from different backgrounds so the neighbourhood is constantly evolving, which makes it an exciting place to live and work.

Rye Lane Nail Bars Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15

It’s not a foodie recommendation but the nail bars on Rye Lane are one of my favourite things about the area! They’re great value.

Frank’s Cafe Bold Tendencies, 7th-10th Floor Multi Storey Car Park, 95A Rye Lane, London SE15 4ST

There’s nothing else like it in London and it’s the perfect summer spot.

We take our kids here a lot too, they love the views.
