West Ham are reportedly keen on a move for Middlesbrough ace Isaiah Jones. The right wing-back has caught the eye playing in the Championship over the past couple of years.

Football League World claim that the Hammers are interested in him along with Premier League rivals Crystal Palace. The report suggests his current club have no intention of selling him at this moment in time meaning suitors will have to fork out enough to tempt Boro into cashing in on him.

West Ham are no strangers to delving into the Football League for talent. They swooped to sign Jarrod Bowen from Hull City back in 2019 and he has since become of their most prized assets.

Jones, 23, started his career at Tooting and Mitcham in non-league before Middlesbrough landed him back in 2019. He had loan spells away from the Riverside Stadium in Scotland at St Johnstone and Queen of the South to gain experience before breaking into the first-team.

He has since made 62 appearances in all competitions for the second tier outfit, 15 of which have come this season, and has chipped in with a couple of goals. His contract expires in June 2025.

Boro are managed by ex-West Ham player Michael Carrick these days and he takes charge of his first game this weekend away at Deepdale. Jones will be one of his key players at his new club but he may have to fend off competition to keep him this winter.
