Tottenham ‘eyeing’ Spanish keeper amid interest in exiled Premier League star

Tottenham Hotspur are in the midst of a pivotal transfer window. Spurs and Antonio Conte will be working hard to secure mid-season signings to help their top four hopes become a reality - but who are they looking at?

Firstly, Tottenham are believed to be interested in a Spanish goalkeeper who currently plies his trade in the Premier League. Hugo Lloris isn’t getting any younger - at 36, it’s thought that Spurs could be lining up a replacement for the French stalwart.

Additionally, Spurs have reportedly ‘submitted a bid’ for a Brighton star. The player in question is currently out of favour at the South Coast club, with rumblings of a backroom bust-up with the Seagulls’ manager.

Spurs thought to be interested in Brentford goalkeeper

David Raya has been Brentford’s man between the sticks since 2019 - however, a report from the The Telegraph appears to indicate that Tottenham could be his next destination. According to The Telegraph, Spurs are ‘tracking’ the Spanish shot stopper.

Raya has been a mainstay for Brentford in 2022/23. So far this season, he has played in all of the Bees’ Premier League games, conceding 28 goals in 18 games.

Tottenham ‘submit bid’ for Leandro Trossard

Tottenham have are submitting a ‘big money’ bid for Leandro Trossard, a report from Football Insider suggests. While nothing official has been confirmed as of yet, Spurs interest in the tricky Belgian seems apparent.

Leandro Trossard has reportedly been exiled from Brighton’s squad, following a reported falling out with Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi. As such, it’s likely that he could make a move elsewhere sooner rather than later.
