Tottenham ‘keen’ on Monaco defender and Real Madrid looking at Spurs target
and live on Freeview channel 276
Tottenham Hotspur have had an eclectic season so far. For every good result, a bad performance always seems to be around the corner - who will they look to make a move for in January to help steady the ship and maintain consistency?
Spurs are reportedly looking at a centre-back who currently plays for AS Monaco in Ligue 1. They’re not the only club who are hot on his heels - West Ham and Manchester United are also thought to be interested.

Spurs interested in Axel Disasi
Spurs want Axel Disasi, according to the Mail Online - but they could miss out on him, as he is reportedly undergoing negotiations to join Manchester United. West Ham are also thought to be looking at the 24-year-old.
Disasi has made 17 league appearances for Monaco this season, scoring a single goal and racking up three assists. His contract doesn’t expire until June 2025 - as such, any club wishing to sign him in the near future will be required to pay a (possibly sizeable) fee.
Real Madrid reportedly looking at Edin Dzeko
In November 2022, CMW reported that Spurs were interested in signing Edin Dzeko in the summer of 2023. Unfortunately, these plans may have been scuppered, as CMW are now reporting that Real Madrid have a ‘possible interest’ in the striker.

Should Madrid make a successful move for Dzeko in January, it would ruin any chance that Spurs may have of getting the Bosnian in on a free in the summer window.
Dzeko has played in the Premier League before, for Manchester City. This season, he’s scored seven goals and registered three assists across 16 Serie A games for Inter Milan. Despite this, at 36, he is drawing close to the end of his illustrious career.
