Tottenham Hotspur face a battle to keep hold of their main man this summer as transfer links emerge

Harry Kane’s contract at Tottenham Hotspur expires at the end of next season and his long-term future continues to be up in the air. At the age of 29, the England international has a big decision to make on which direction he wants his career to take now.

The striker is still yet to win a trophy and has been in the first-team of his current club since 2013. He has been linked with an exit as soon as this summer.

Spurs risk losing him for free in June 2024 unless they cash in on him in the upcoming transfer window or can agree terms over a new deal. According to a The Telegraph, fellow Premier League side Manchester United have started to make ‘attempts’ to find out how much it would take to lure him away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of this season.

The report adds that Daniel Levy will ‘demand’ at least £100million for his signature. Erik ten Hag’s side will be in the hunt for a forward with Wout Weghorst’s loan up in a few months.

Kane has been heavily linked with Manchester City in the past but his position is now occupied by Erling Haaland. Another option is Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga champions are said to be keen, as per German new outlet Bild.

Spurs are in the hunt for a new manager with Ryan Mason now in caretaker charge. They will be desperate to keep hold of their main man but it may depend on who they get in as their boss next.
