Crystal Palace star returns to training as Oliver Glasner handed double boost ahead of Nottingham Forest
There is finally some good news in South London with midfielder Cheick Doucoure returning to training and likely to be involved for Crystal Palace at some point on Monday night against Nottingham Forest. The midfielder, who made a difference when he came off the bench against Chelsea, has missed the last two games due to a foot injury he picked up early last month.
His return will be a massive boost for Eagles manager Oliver Glasner, who is under pressure to turn things around and secure the team’s first league win after what has been a strangely underwhelming start. LondonWorld has been informed that Doucoure returned to training on Monday and stands a good chance of making the team, especially given that their game is on Monday night.

Palace have struggled this season and are in need of inspiration—so the return of this duo will offer under-fire manager Glasner additional bodies and hopefully lead to a better tactical shape that will bring the first win of the season.
Last season, they finished brilliantly, recovering from a slow start to finish 10th in the league table, above their sworn rivals Brighton, and equalling their best finish the top flight.
However, they lost Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, Joachim Andersen to Fulham, and the hard-working Jordan Ayew to Leicester City, which has inevitably disrupted the team. After seven games, they will hope that their Europa League-winning manager can turn things around and get their season back on track at the City Ground.
The Eagles are currently 18th in the league table, with three points from a possible 21.
