Crystal Palace make the trip to the East Midlands on Monday night to face a Nottingham Forest side who are winless in three games. However, the Eagles’ form has been more worrying as they haven’t yet recorded a win on the season, losing four games and drawing three.
It puts Oliver Glasner’s side 18th in the Premier League and just two points off the bottom of the table. Meanwhile, Forest have already beaten Liverpool and Southampton so far this season as they sit 10th in the table on 10 points from the opening seven games.

Crystal Palace injury news
Defender Chadi Riad is recovering from an ACL injury that he suffered in Palace’s 4-0 win over Norwich in the EFL Cup in late August. He will be side-lined for a lengthy period of time as Oliver Glasner said: “At the beginning, we all thought maybe it's worse, but the ACL is not ruptured, so that's important - but it will take several weeks.”
Matheus Franca has also been ruled out of Monday night’s game against Forest with a groin injury which could keep him out until at least the start of 2025. On the plus side, Chris Richards could be in line for a return on Monday but it could come too soon for the American defender. Furthermore, star midfielder Adam Wharton should get the all clear to play at City Ground after a tight groin. Cheick Doucoure also returned to training this week so could be available after dealing with a toe injury.
Ruled out: Chadi Riad, Mathues Franca. Doubtful: Chris Richards, Adam Wharton and Cheick Doucoure.

Both Ibrahim Sangare and Danilo are recovering from long-term issues which they suffered in August. Danilo faced a horrific ankle injury against Bournemouth. Meanwhile, Sangare has a hamstring injury which could keep him out until November.
However, goalkeeper Matz Sels has a minor groin injury which he should have recovered from come Monday night. The Belgian keeper is expected to play against Palace which will be a boost to Forest. Furthermore, the Reds could have Morgan Gibbs-White back whose status for Monday’s game is currently set at 50%. He is being monitored by the Forest medical staff over an ankle injury he suffered and is a doubt for the Crystal Palace clash.
