Nathan Jones promises Charlton Athletic midweek changes
Charlton Athletic look to build on a League One away win at Shrewsbury Town over the weekend in a Bristol Street Motors Trophy clash against Cambridge United on Tuesday night.
Addicks boss Nathan Jones has teased changes for midweek action but has maintained that victory remains a priority.
Looking ahead to the trip to the Cledara Abbey Stadium, Jones said: "It's an opportunity for us to win another football game. First and foremost, we will pick a team to win a football game. We want to breed that - we don't want to take anything lightly and we don't want to do anything that upsets the rhythm and the quality of the work that we're doing.

Godden signed for Charlton Athletic for a reported £400,000 from Coventry City this summer but the striker has only managed one start so far this term. Allan Campbell was another summer addition, arriving as a free agent having left Luton Town, coming to The Valley to work with Nathan Jones once again.
Birmingham City star praises ex Charlton Athletic man
Birmingham City record-breaking summer signing Jay Stansfield has heaped praise on 'unbelievable' former Charlton Athletic striker Alfie May as the two form a budding partnership in the Midlands.
The Blues paid a league record £12m to sign the player from Fulham and Stansfield now partners last year's third tier top scorer May, who left The Valley for £750,000.

“Me and Alfie showed tonight that we can link up well, we can make different movements and we caused a real threat to their back-line. I can’t wait to play more games with him – not just him, with the other players as well.
“A lot of talk has gone around with who’s going to have that position and we’ll both fight for it. At the end of the day we’re both players for this football club. Me and Alfie have a really good connection in the changing room and we can help each other through. He’s scored loads of goals in League One and is an unbelievable player so he’s someone that I can learn off as well.”

At one moment, after appearing to fall on top of Cochrane, Mullin can be seen making a motion towards the opposition's player with his mouth. It was caught on TV cameras with some suggesting Mullin was trying to bite the player.
The Wrexham man has since taken to social media platform X and wrote: “I know what it looks like.. but it didn’t happen. Although you can tell his leg was thinking about attacking my mouth.”
Meanwhile, Cochrane told Sky: "I don't really know to be honest. I was on the floor. I think it was just a bit of handbags, out of nothing, but not too much. Just a load of nonsense, really!"
