While there are no planned closures across the TfL network, some roads will be closed in central London. Some bus routes may be diverted, or may terminate early, due to the road closures.

London Underground

All Tube trains are set to run as normal, although there will be some short-term safety measures such as queuing, closures, trains non-stopping or changes to the way people enter or exit a station.

A number of stations that are near the procession will be very busy, this includes Westminster, Green Park, Charing Cross, Embankment, Victoria, Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Temple and Marble Arch.

St James’s Park station will be shut on May 6 but will re-open once safe, plus Hyde Park Corner will be exit only.

Street Parties will be taking place across London and some residential roads will be temporarily closed. Local authorities will have details of the roads affected in local areas.

Andy Lord, London’s Transport Commissioner, said: "We are delighted that London is hosting ceremonial events for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, and look forward to welcoming visitors and Londoners alike onto the transport network for this historic occasion.

“We expect central London to be very busy and the large-scale events will mean road closures in central London, so I’d advise people to check before they travel.

“I’d also encourage Londoners and those visiting to mark the celebrations to make the most of the public transport options, as there are no planned closures.”
