Canary Wharf is set to be transformed into a magical winter wonderland this weekend as the Winter Ice Festival blows into town.
Visitors will be able to try their hand at ice sculpting and watch live professional carvings.

Walk a trail of frozen sculptures created by talented artists from across the globe during the three-day only event (Thursday, November 17, to Saturday, November 19).
Free, first-come, first-served, 20 minute ice sculpting classes will be held in Montgomery Square and Crossrail Place Roof Garden where visitors can try out carving a polar bear.

And showstopping live ice block carving shows will be taking place on Friday and Saturday, with complimentary drinks, nibbles and seasonal treats on offer during the demonstrations.
Ice graffiti walls will also be open for visitors to test out their creativity in 15 minute sessions.

Professionals will help you create a winter masterpiece in this family friendly experience.
Also on Friday and Saturday, visitors will be encouraged to wrap up warm for a frosty Jubilee Park trail of 15 frozen animals and birds, each highlighting a different endangered species.

Elsewhere in Canary Wharf, festive activities from London’s longest running ice rink in Canada Square Park, to restaurants and shops, mean you can make a day of it.
