West Ham United find themselves in Europe again next season and will be aiming for another successful campaign both domestically and abroad.

David Moyes’ side finished in a respectable 7th place in the Premier League last term and will be hoping for more of the same.

Midfielder Flynn Downes became their last summer recruit last week and the former Ipswich Town man has joined from Swansea City.

The attacker impressed on loan in the Premier League at Southampton last season, scoring nine goals.

The Daily Mail claim the Hammers have ‘formally’ expressed their interest in landing him now and he will hold further talks with the Blues about his future.

Linked player going elsewhere

Hull City’s Keane Lewis-Potter, who has been linked with Moyes’ side this summer, is joining Brentford.

The England U21 international has scored 38 goals over the past two campaigns for the Tigers in all competitons.

Championship man an option

Blackburn Rovers attacker Ben Brereton Diaz is apparently an option being looked at by West Ham.

The Chile international has fired fired 22 goals in the Championship last season.

The Evening Standard claim he is being ‘considered’ by the Hammers as a potential alternative to Broja.
