They have so far signed Morocco international defender Nayef Aguerd from Rennes and goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from PSG on a permanent basis.

In terms of outgoings, David Moyes’ side have trimmed down on their squad size a bit and have let the likes of Ryan Fredericks, Andriy Yarmolenko and David Martin leave, whilst Mark Noble has retired.

The London club finished 7th last term and will be eager for more of the same next time around.

They have been linked with a whole host of players over recent times and are patiently plotting their next additions.
