Julen Lopetegui takes West Ham to Brentford this weekend in what looks to be a must-win fixture for the Spaniard.

The pressure is growing on West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui after a heavy Carabao Cup defeat to Liverpool in midweek.

The Hammers' played better than the 5-1 scoreline may hint during that trip to Anfield but it was still an infuriating night that was capped off with a red card for Edson Alvarez. That loss followed a 3-0 humbling by Chelsea at the London Stadium last weekend and an unconvincing point against Fulham two weeks ago.

Having spent a huge amount on signings this summer, a faster start was expected from Lopetegui. LondonWorld looks how the manager's win percentage compares among the last 10 West Ham bosses ahead of a must win trip to Brentford on Saturday.

Julen Lopetegui - 29% (2 wins, 1 draw, 4 defeats)

The Spaniard has overseen a Premier League victory against Crystal Palace and a Carabao Cup win over Bournemouth. Lopetegui secured a point at Fulham but has lost the rest of his fixtures so far.

David Moyes - 29% (2 wins, 1 draw, 4 defeats)

The Scotsman managed the same record as Lopetegui in his first seven fixtures of the second tenure, although hadn't had a summer of preparations. Moyes won his first two against Bournemouth in the league and Gillingham in the cup before a more tricky run of results.

Manuel Pellegrini - 29% (2 wins, 1 draw, 4 defeats)

The former Manchester City boss was thumped 4-0 by Liverpool on his first game in charge. His fourth match was a trip to AFC Wimbledon in the cup, which resulted in a 3-1 win and a victory by the same scoreline against Everton followed by his sixth fixture.

David Moyes - 29% (2 wins, 2 draws, 3 defeats)

A slightly more successful start the first time around for Moyes. There was no win in his first four outings, with just one draw among those league matches, but a victory over Chelsea was followed by a draw against Arsenal and a win over Stoke City.

Slaven Bilic - 57% (4 wins, 1 draw, 2 defeats)

Some early Europa League qualifiers allowed Bilic to get off to a strong start. West Ham won by a total score of 7-4 against Lusitanos and in two matches against Birkirkara. A first defeat came at home to Leicester City on the second week of the Premier League season.

Sam Allardyce - 57% (4 wins, 1 draw, 2 defeats)

Avram Grant - 29% (2 wins, 1 draw, 4 defeats)

Grant shares the same record as Lopetegui over the opening seven fixtures. His wins came in the cup against Oxford United and West Ham with no league victory until his eighth match in charge.

Gianfranco Zola - 29% (2 wins, 5 defeats)

Zola didn't draw a match as West Ham manager until his ninth game in charge. The Italian's victories came over Newcastle United and Fulham.

Alan Curbishley - 29% (2 wins, 2 draws, 3 defeats)

Curbishley had to wait five matches to follow an opening victory over Manchester United with another win, that coming against Brighton in the cup. The former Birmingham City star saw his Hammers side thrashed 6-0 at Reading in those early fixtures.

Alan Pardew - 0% (5 draws, 2 wins)

There was no West Ham win for Pardew until his eighth game in charge of the side, which came against Wigan Athletic. His Hammers side only conceded more than one goal on one occasion in his opening seven fixtures, that was a 4-3 defeat at home to West Brom.
