Tottenham Hotspur have one major question mark hanging above their head this summer — will they be able to keep hold of Harry Kane? That is one of the most discussed topics of the current transfer window as he continues to receive a lot of interest from all over Europe.

The star striker has been heavily linked to a move away from North London, having spent his entire senior career with the club. Both Manchester United and Chelsea have been connected with a swoop for Kane, with the Reds emerging as front-runners for quite some time. In spite of the interest, and his £100 million valuation, Tottenham have stressed he is not for sale.

Paris Saint-Germain have now appeared on the radar though and, according to Le Parisien (via Goal), want to make the England captain their marquee signing of the summer.

However, despite the keen interest from the French giants and the high chance of winning silverware as early as next season, Gabby Agbonlahor doesn’t believe the move will materialise.

“I wouldn’t go to PSG if I was him,” the former Aston Villa man told Football Insider. “I feel for Kane because he has been priced out of a move to Man United, who are going to move on to other targets. He’s not going to end up at a club in England, and I don’t think Real Madrid will pay the money for him.

“I think he’ll be playing for Spurs next season. It wouldn’t surprise me, to be honest, if he ends up signing a new contract.”

Kane has just one year left on his current contract with Spurs and it’s more than likely a move will be tempting him in some way or another. Despite contributing a stunning 38 league goals in 38 apperances last season, it wasn’t enough for Tottenham to qualify for European football. If he does opt to stay with Tottenham, they have a big shift ahead of them to improve on their form in the 2023/24 season.
