Tottenham were hit with another injury blow just minutes before the game against Portsmouth in the FA Cup, with midfielder Yves Bissouma dropping out due to a knock picked up during the warm-up.

The Malian midfielder was originally named in the starting team, after sitting out of the game against Crystal Palace due to accumulation of yellow cards. But his return was abandoned hen he was taken away by the medical staff after complaining of pain in his thigh.

England striker Harry Kane made sure Spurs got the win after receiving the ball at the edge of the Pompey penalty box and finishing off brilliantly - truly a moment of brilliance.

The injury to Biussouma though will be monitored widely and Tottenham are already without Rodrigo Bentancur.

Lucas Moura  has likely played his last game for the Lillywhites as he continues to battle for fitness. His contract runs out in the summer.

Brazil striker Richalison has not been involved since his return from the World Cup. Spurs assistant manager Cristian Stellini, standing in for Antonio Conte at the press conference, said the club was still assessing the situation.

He told reporters after the game: “The injury came from the last match - an ankle problem. He tried to push himself but he was not 100%. It’s very good when the player tells us they are not 100% as Skippy was and he played well. He will [be fit for Arsenal].”
