Tottenham have surged ahead of Chelsea and is currently in talks with Club Brugge regarding the exciting winger Antonio Nusa. Chelsea had a bid of approximately £23 million rejected for the Norwegian international last summer, but Spurs are now aiming to reach an agreement slightly higher than that.

The North London club has been scouring Europe for some of the best talents and has successfully secured players like Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie. Both of them are now first-team players, thanks to their impressive scouting networks and the offering of deals that allow young stars to remain at their selling club for continued development before making the move to the Premier League.

When Spurs signed the Senegal international from Metz in 2021, they agreed to let him stay there for a season before joining the Lilywhites. They repeated the same approach when they signed Udogie from Udinese and are now looking to do the same for the rapidly rising Nusa, as reported by LondonWorld.

Still only 18 years old, the winger has earned four caps for Norway and is regarded as a rising star in European football, with scouts from around the world closely monitoring his progress. Spurs have displayed remarkable ambition in this transfer window by already securing the services of Timo Werner, who will fill in for Son Heung-min, currently away for the Asian Cup. The German forward made his debut in their thrilling 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last weekend and provided an assist.

Additionally, they have signed center-back Radu Dragusin from Genoa, as part of a deal that could potentially be valued at around £26 million, demonstrating their commitment to supporting manager Ange Postecoglou, who has seamlessly adapted to life in North London. The Lilywhites are set to take on Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup next week.
