All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Tottenham as they prepare to face Leicester City.

Tottenham are now preparing for a Premier League date with fellow strugglers Leicester City after an entertaining win over Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday night. Spurs cannot afford to slip-up against the Foxes, who could pull the North London club into relegation trouble.

As Ange Postecoglou looks to keep the pressure at bay, the search goes on for new signings, with at least a couple expected before the end of the window. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Spurs.

Dibling race

Tottenham are said to be pushing for a deal to sign Southampton talent Tyler Dibling. According to Florian Plettenberg, RB Leipzig are going all out to land the 18-year-old, but Spurs are named as their biggest rivals.

It’s claimed the North London club are in ‘concrete talks’ with the player’s agent in a bid to lure him to the capital. Dibling has been Southampton’s star man in a hugely disappointing season so far, yet to surpass the record-low in terms of Premier League points.

Gomes boost

Spurs are said to be in the race for Lille midfielder Angel Gomes as they look to add depth to the middle of the park. GIVEMESPORT say Tottenham are best positioned to pull off a deal despite interest from West Ham.

Gomes is out of contract in the summer, and he is said to be hoping for a new challenge, meaning he is currently available on a pre-contract agreement for free, or alternative, a discounted fee immediately. Spurs are said to be pushing to make a deal happen, although it’s unclear whether they want a deal now or ready for the summer.

Injury latest

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Cristian Romero nor Micky van de Ven are ready to return to action this weekend despite resuming training. "They've still got a bit to do in terms of training with the team,” said the Spurs boss. “We haven't really trained a lot, the other day was a low-tempo session, but it was just good to get him involved, not just for him, but for the players, they need help, some encouragement and to see Cuti training would have given them a big lift. Micky's not too far away, either. Again, these players will come back, it's not all doom and gloom. It's good to see for the players. He's joined in training the last couple of days but he's still got a bit of work to do."

He also provided an update on Djed Spence, adding: “Djed is still sore from the weekend and is a doubt for this weekend, he got a knock (against Everton), he's a doubt. Pape's still a doubt. Reggy (Sergio Reguilon) should be okay."
