Tottenham vs Borussia Dortmund injury news as 6 ruled out and 4 doubts
All the latest injury news surrounding Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund as they prepare to face off in the Champions League.
Tottenham return to Champions League action on Tuesday night when they take on Borussia Dortmund. Spurs have performed pretty well in the Champions League so far, with the competition proving a welcome distraction from a disappointing Premier League campaign.

Thomas Frank’s men come into this one off the back of a defeat to strugglers West Ham, but they are currently in a play-off spot in the Champions League group phase, level on points with opponents Dortmund one point off the automatic spots.
Dortmund are currently second in the Bundesliga and coming off the back of a 3-2 win over St Pauli, but they don’t look as though they are in title contention.
Ramy Bensebaini - Doubt
Bensebaini had the flu over the weekend and will be battling to feel well enough to be involved here.
Marcel Sabitzer - Out
Sabitzer is out until some time in February with a calf injury.
Aaron Anselmino - Out
Anselmino has a muscular injury that is going to keep him out until later this month.
Salih Ozcan - Out (Ineligible and not counted towards total)
Ozcan is recovering from an Achilles injury and will be absent until March.
Archie Gray - Doubt
Gray has a fresh knee injury and looks set to miss out, but he will stay as a doubt for now.
Joao Palhinha - Doubt
Palhinha has a doubt and will be battling to play here.
Xavi Simons - Doubt
Simons is on a similar situation.
Richarlison - Out
Richarlison is out long-term, with Frank having confirmed: “Richy, unfortunately, got a hamstring injury, which will keep him out for up to seven weeks.”
Rodrigo Bentancur - Out
Bentancur has undergone surgery on his right hamstring and he will be absent until at least after the March international break.
Mohammed Kudus - Out
Kudus has now been ruled out for months with a hamstring issue. Frank has confirmed: “Mohammed, unfortunately, is a bigger one to the tendon in the quad. That is one where we expect him back after the March international break.”
Dejan Kulusevski - Out
Frank has said: “We know it is a complicated injury. If there is one person who can accelerate that [recovery], it is Dejan. The most important thing is to remove the pain in the knee. He had an injection to help that ten days ago. We will know in 3-4 weeks if that has settled. And when it has settled, hopefully, he will be on the grass and from there, we will see what is happening.”
James Maddison - Out (Ineligible and not counted towards total)
Maddison is out for much - if not all - of the season with a knee injury. Frank said in December: “It's very early stages. It's still a long-term injury, so it's good to see him out there, but very early stages. There's no specific time frame. It will be a long time, unfortunately, before he's available.”
