Werner has made just two Bundesliga starts this season-with Belgian forward Lois Openda preferred to him by RB Leipzig manager Marco Rose.
Risk free loan for all involved
The deal makes sense for both parties with the striker desperate for minutes that will help him get back to the German national team for the Euros. Werner will also feel he has a point to prove in the Premier League having left Chelsea with 23 goals in 89 appearances.

For Tottenham, they will be without club captain Son Heung-min for at least a month due to his participation in the Asian Cup and there are fears Alejo Veliz has suffered a long-term knee injury so bringing in someone who knows the Premier League at a reasonable risk is good business.
The north London club also get cover and in the best case scenario can make the deal permanent for just £15million depending on how he gets along.
Tottenham will look to get the deal signed and sealed and Werner could be available for their Premier League game against Manchester United this weekend.
