Neil Harris confronts Millwall striker recall while Leeds United linked with blockbuster £2m West Brom swoop

Millwall look at striker recall
Millwall can recall striker Tom Leahy back to the club from a loan spell at Woking, head coach Neil Harris has confirmed, but the current injury crisis is unlikely to lead to such drastic measures.
The Lions are having to cope without the injured Josh Coburn and Mihailo Ivanović at the moment. Talisman Zian Flemming and fellow attacker Kevin Nisbet both left the club loan this summer.
20-year-old Leahy was loaned to National League side Woking earlier this month and has seen plenty of football, but is yet to score. When asked about the potential need to recall the player, Harris admitted it was possible but that the player is not in his immediate first team plans.

Leeds United could be tempted by £2m managerial swoop
Leeds United could look to capitalise on news that West Brom manager Carlos Corberan has a £2 million release clause in his contract as pressure grows on Daniel Farke.
The Whites narrowly missed out on promotion last season in a huge blow for the club and have endured an inconsistent start to the 2024/25 campaign with just two wins in their opening five outings.
The Baggies have impressed and sit top of the table with four wins and a draw so far, manager Croberan turning heads. Football Insider has now unveiled news of the release clause in the Spaniard's contract.

The outlet adds that West Brom would have a 'fight on their hands' to convince the 41-year-old to stay, should Leeds United cough up the £2 million.
Stoke City appoint new head coach
Stoke City have appointed appoint Norwich City first team coach Narcis Pelach as the club's new head coach following the departure of Steven Schumacher.
The 36-year-old has joined the Championship rivals from the Canaries after the club parted ways with Schumacher to 'serve the long-term interests' of the outfit. Stoke City sit 13th in the league with two wins and three defeats this term.
Losing the coach, who has history at Huddersfield Town and Girona, comes as a blow for Norwich City - who welcome Watford to Carrow Road this weekend. Pelach was in the stands to watch Stoke City defeat Fleetwood Town on penalties in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
