The Championship is back in full swing after an exciting weekend of action, and for Millwall and QPR, all concentration is now on this weekend’s London derby against each other. The Lions will have a extra rest ahead of that one due to the Hoops taking on Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
In the Championship, both London clubs remain on one win for the season, and only one can add to their win column this weekend. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding both teams and their Championship rivals.

Despite suffering a blow in the form of Josh Coburn, Neil Harris has confirmed some good news in the form of Adam Mayor and Billy Mitchell, who are back in full training. “They’re back in full training for the first time this week,” Harris told the South London Press. “But in terms of being back on the squad, it will be at least three to four weeks.
“The players do a six-week pre-season programme and they have completed their first two and a half weeks. They probably have between two-and-a-half weeks to three weeks to go. We’re hoping both are going to be fine for either West Brom, leading up to the international break, or just after that.”
Agent’s Leeds claim
The agent of one of Leeds United’s newest signings, Isaac Schmidt, has said that the Whites ‘must’ return to the top flight. “For us, it was clear that joining Leeds and moving to England was a great opportunity for Isaac”, agent Adam Lang told LeedsLive.
“The project perfectly matched what we were looking for so we didn’t hesitate. It’s the fact that such a great club must return to the Premier League.” Leeds are currently eighth and needing to pick up form following a below part start.

Hide AdShawcross on Schumacher exit
Ryan Shawcross has been speaking after taking temporary charge of Stoke City following Steve Schumacher’s early sacking. He said: “Whilst the circumstances are challenging, the opportunity to take charge of the team for tonight’s game is something I will relish, learn from and seek to enjoy.
“Representing Stoke City in this way means a great deal to me, and I of course carry a huge amount of love and respect for our brilliant fans. The work the team has done to reach round three, with young sides overcoming contests against Carlisle United and Middlesbrough, has been impressive – and the prize at stake this evening is significant.”
