'Bad news' - Millwall dealt serious injury blow for QPR, West Brom and more Championship fixtures

Millwall will be without summer signing Josh Coburn for six to eight winks due to a calf injury picked up in last weekend's Championship defeat to Luton Town at The Den.
The Middlesbrough loanee, who arrived at the London outfit on Deadline Day, had only made two appearances for the club since completing his move. Coburn scored in his Millwall debut against Sheffield Wednesday before the international break before being forced off after 34 minutes against the Hatters.

Hide AdMillwall boss Neil Harris has now placed a six to eight-week lay-off on that injury. He told the South London Press: “Josh Coburn is going to be out for six to eight weeks.
“That’s the bad news. We’re going to see how it settles in the next 14 days. He’s a player we chased all summer. We finally get him in the building and he starts with a goal on his debut – to lose him is disappointing.
“It’s one of those things. One person’s misfortune is another one’s gain. I thought Macaulay Langstaff played very well when he came on and was very unlucky not to open his account for the club. He’s a natural goalscorer, so I’m sure that goal won’t be far away."
It's a significant blow for Millwall, with the club losing talisman Zian Flemming to Burnley this summer. Kevin Nisbet also quit London to spend the season on loan at Aberdeen, which had left Harris speaking publicly about the need for additions up front.

Those came in Coburn and club-record signing Mihailo Ivanovic, but the latter is also sidelined with an injury as it stands. Millwall, who are not in Carabao Cup action midweek having been knocked out by Leyton Orient, face QPR in the Championship this weekend.
After the short trip to Loftus Road, there are fixtures against Preston North End and Cardiff City before a tricky trip to top-of-the-table West Brom. Coburn could also miss matches against Derby County, Plymouth Argyle and Swansea City before the end of October.
