Gregg Wallace is a well-known Millwall fan but so are some Hollywood stars who you might not know hold an affinity with The Den.

It’s been an exciting season to be a Millwall fan so far this year with the Lions showing consistency and resilience under Neil Harris after a relegation dogfight last season.

Impressive home victories over Leeds United and Burnley before the international break were particular highlights at The Den for supporters. A return to action in London comes this weekend as Coventry City make the trip to Millwall.

There are some famous faces who will be keeping an eye on the side’s progress under Harris and LondonWorld looks at nine famous Millwall fans, ranked by their reported net worth.

Zerkaa, £3m

The internet personality, whose real name is Joshua Bradley, is best known for being part of the group known as the Sidemen. In 2022, Zerkaa was the most-watched Twitch streamer in the United Kingdom.

The content creator is an outspoken Millwall fan. He said in 2023: "My dad used to take me to Millwall every single Tuesday and Saturday. Millwall is not a club that is ready for someone to go where fans are going to come and say, 'Can I get a photo?' I stopped going because I didn't want to ruin the experience for others around me.

"I went with my family again and there was a queue up the whole staircase for photos. I felt a burden for those around me - it's not about I'm too famous I don't want to be here - it's I'm a burden to others who are genuinely trying to enjoy football." (Net worth as per RadioTimes)

Gregg Wallace, £5m

Masterchef host and TV presenter Gregg Wallace is a die-hard Millwall supporter. The 60-year-old has a tattoo of the club badge on his chest and was born in Peckham.

Wallace told Zoo magazine in 2008: “I was brought up in Peckham and went to Millwall regularly. Some of my friends from school grew up to be hooligans. Millwall had a fierce reputation at the time, which was well deserved. They had a large percentage of people that were able to cause havoc!

“I got arrested for assault when I was 20...But my Millwall days are long behind me. I was a product of my area. Police were making hundreds of arrests at every home game back then. Getting nicked was like a social pastime!” (Net worth as per The Sun)

Lars Frederiksen, £10.3m

Rancid guitarist and vocalist Lars Frederiksen was born a million miles away from Millwall in California but somehow grew to love the London outfit. That happened at the time when he struggled to follow his local San Francisco club.

He told The Score: "It was during the time the Quakes had gone away, then the San Francisco Bay Blackhawks, then the Clash. You sort of lose faith a little bit.

"My brother liked West Ham United. As you know, that's Millwall's biggest rivalry. Before my brother passed away, I went down to West Ham. That was the first English game that I got to. I was over there producing a band called The Business, whose singer liked West Ham. We went down there, and honestly, I didn't really feel like I fit in there.

"It wasn't until maybe a year later, or whatever it was, when Roi from a band called The Last Resort said: 'Why don't you come down to Millwall with me?' I went down and I felt like I was at home. I felt like I was going to a Quakes game.

"It was the same kind of people: real working-class, real rough-around-the-edges people that I'm used to. It wasn't that shiny. It was really rough around the edges. It's like going into the old Tiger Stadium and it smells like beer and piss and everyone's smoking in the bathroom. It's perfect." (Net worth as per CelebrityNetWorth)

The Haymaker is a 'Bermondsey boy' and a lifelong Millwall fan. He's made appearances at The Den since rising to boxing fame. In 2016, ahead of returning to the club to watch the side face Oldham Athletic, he said: "It's great to get down to The Den as I haven't been for a hell of a long time now.

"I've had 'advisors' trying to force me to support London Premier League teams, but I'm a Bermondsey boy, born in Guy's Hospital, growing up off Long Lane and attending Bacon's College in Surrey Quays means I have to stick true to my local team. Jumping ship isn't what The Hayemaker is about!" (Net worth as per CelebrityNetWorth)

Academy Award and BAFTA winner Gary Oldman has made a name for himself in films such as the Harry Potter franchise, Oppenheimer and The Dark Knight. The 66-year-old was born in London and has shared his love for Millwall.

He said: “Just after the war, mum ran a boarding house for Millwall players. I knew already that my dad was somehow involved with the reserve team, but two weeks ago my mum said, ‘Oh yeah, your dad played for Millwall.’ It turned out that when he was young he had a couple of first-team games.

“I was in the kitchen, making tea. I said, ‘What are you talking about? You tell me this now? I was rather surprised to discover that my dad – albeit for five minutes – had been a professional footballer. I was quite chuffed, and proud.” (Net worth as per CelebrityNetWorth)

During that 2007 acceptance speech, Day-Lewis said: "It's been a mighty year and I'm very proud to be included. Invicta Infant School, Sherrington Primary School in Charlton, Greenwich Park, Blackheath, the streets of Deptford, Lewisham, New Cross, the bomb sites on the Isle of Dogs. The shadowy laneways of the south east London docks, the terraces of Millwall football ground. Those are the playgrounds of my early life." (Net worth as per CelebrityNetWorth)

Billie Joe Armstrong, £59.3m

The Green Day frontman holds an affinity for several football clubs in the UK, but it's fair to say that Millwall is certainly up there as one of his favourites. The singer watched the club beat Stoke City 1-0 in 2023 and shared images of his trip to The Den on social media.

He told The Guardian: “I went to a lot of football games: Arsenal, Leyton Orient, Fulham “I went to The Den to see Millwall. That was amazing. Man, if you really want to experience British culture that’s what you should do.

“Football is like a f***ing religion. It’s like being at a big rock concert. You practically need earplugs. I’ve always wanted to check out all the different divisions, not just the world-class teams like Arsenal and Man City.

“I wanted to go to some of the lower-league games – especially Millwall, which has that gritty, pissed off, underdog, ‘no one likes us and we don’t care’ vibe. It reminds me of being an Oakland Raiders fan.” (Net worth as per CelebrityNetWorth)

Denzel Washington, £237m

One of the stars of recent box office smash Gladiator II, Washington isn't perhaps a lifelong Millwall supporter but he certainly holds an affinity for the club. The 69-year-old visited The Den when working on 1988 movie For Queen and Country.

Co-star Frank Harper said: "Deznel Washington stood next to me at a Millwall game. He later said it felt like being in the Coliseum with lions." (Net worth as per CelebrityNetWorth)
