Fulham defender Ibane Bowat is reportedly poised to join FC Den Bosch on loan. The youngster is set to move to Holland on a deal until the end of the season.

As per West London Sport, the 20-year-old is heading to Europe despite interest from League One and the Scottish Premiership. He will be playing his football in the Eerste Divisie, which is the league below the Eredivisie.

Football League World claimed earlier this month that fellow London club Charlton Athletic were keen on him along with Cheltenham Town. The third tier duo will both have to look elsewhere for defensive reinforcements between now and the end of the transfer window.

Bowat spent time in the academy at Chelsea before linking up with Fulham. He has since risen up through the ranks at Craven Cottage and has been a regular at various youth levels over recent years.

His contract expires at the end of this campaign but there is an option to extend his stay by a further 12 months this summer. He will be looking to use his time at FC Den Bosch to show what he can do and they are currently 18th in the table as they endure a tough campaign.

Elsewhere, Fulham have been linked with a move to re-sign striker Josh Maja from Bordeaux, as per Girondins, whilst The Sun claim scouts watched Norwich City right-back Max Aarons in action last weekend.
