Fulham are reportedly keeping tabs on Luton Town’s James Bree, Millwall’s Danny McNamara and Norwich City’s Max Aarons. The Cottagers are in the hunt for a new right-back in the January transfer window.

The Daily Mail claim they are now looking at ‘alternatives’ to Arsenal’s Cedric Soares should they fail to agree terms with their top target in that position. It appears they will delve into the Championship for someone else if they can’t land the Portugal international.

Bree, 25, has been a key player for Luton over the past few years and helped them get into the play-offs last term. He has been on the books at Kenilworth Road since 2020 having previously played for Aston Villa and Barnsley.

McNamara at Millwall was wanted by QPR in the last summer window, as per West London Sport,  but the Lions managed to keep hold of him. However, they may face another battle to retain his services this winter.

Aarons is a player who has played in the top flight before with Norwich and it is no surprise to see him linked with a departure again. He has played for the Canaries for his whole career to date.

Fulham knocked second tier side Hull City out of the FA Cup yesterday and won 2-0 at the MKM Stadium courtesy of goals by Layvin Kurzawa and Dan James. Next up is a Premier League clash against London rivals Chelsea on Thursday evening.
