All the training pitches will get replaced to make sure they are ready for the new season, that begins earlier than usual due to the Qatar World Cup.

Palace are also working hard behind the scenes to try and hold on to their player of season Conor Gallagher, who is on loan from Chelsea.

Even though there is a strong chance that the England international will return to Stamford Bridge.

The club hierarchy are also carrying out contract negotiations for players such as Jordan Ayew, James McArthur and Cheikhou Kouyate.

Palace are leaning towards offering just one extra year to these players, although some are holding out for a two-year deal.

A semi-final finish at this year’s FA Cup, that came with a trip to Wembley, and an exciting brand of football that caught the eyes of the neutrals has generated a buzz around Palace, and the signs are encouraging for the future.

Manager Patrick Vieira is billed to speak to the press on Friday with injury issues to key defender Marc Guehi and a growing interest in winger Michael Olise.

The former Reading flyer arrived in the summer as virtually an unknown name, and has now become a massive hit within the Eagles fanbase.
