Crystal Palace player ratings as brilliant Wilfried Zaha scores with the last kick of the game

Wilfried Zaha scored the winning goal as Crystal Palace returned to winning ways in the Premier League.

Southampton had taken the lead through Oriol Romeu finishing off smartly to give his side the lead.

At that time Palace were looking at four defeats in their last five games but Eberechi Eze found the back of the net after some nice play from Clyne to draw Palace level.

The win was the first Palace had in the league in almost a month after defeats to Leicester and Newcastle and a draw against Leeds at home.

Patrick Vieira’s side were never really in danger of a relegation battle but they needed a win to lift moods and give fans something to hold on after that deflating FA Cup defeat at Wembley.

The winning goal also means Wilfried Zaha has scored 13 Premier League goals this season, his best ever return for the club in the Premier League and will now certainly be crowned Player of the Season.

Palace are now 12th on the league table with 41 points, eight behind their all time best Premier League tally of 49 with four games to end the season.

So in what was a memorable afternoon at the St Mary’s, here is how we rated the performance of all the Palace players today.
