LondonWorld understands Crystal Palace are closing in on the signing of Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan. The 23-year-old is set to be given the green light to leave the table toppers on a temporary basis to get some regular game time.

Stuttgart’s Naouirou Ahamada is poised to put pen-to-paper on his transfer from the Bundesliga. BBC Sport report he is having a medical today.

The Eagles are also set to tie up a move for St Mirren prospect Dylan Reid, as per Sky Sports. The 17-year-old is being tipped for a bright future and will be seen as a long-term addition.

Crystal Palace have been linked with a few other names as well over recent days. Football Scotland claim they like Celtic winger Liel Abada, The Sun say they are interested in Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Lucas Moura and Football Insider report that are keen on QPR midfielder Sam Field.

Outgoings?

Striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is facing an uncertain future amid links with a move elsewhere but it would leave Patrick Viera short of options up top if he left. Wilfried Zaha is out of contract in the summer but is currently injured so won’t be going anywhere.

Young striker Luke Plange has already departed on loan to Lincoln City. Defender Jake O’Brien could follow suit with a number of Football League clubs in the frame for his signature.
