Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi will be staying at Charlton Athletic until the end of the season. The youngster has been on the radar of a whole host of other Football League sides in the January transfer window but not be going anywhere.

London News Online claim the Eagles had a recall option this month but have decided not to exercise it. He has been getting plenty of game time under his belt at The Valley and Patrick Viera’s side are happy with his progress.

Rak-Sakyi, 20, has emerged on the radar of Championship clubs this month. Reporter Alan Nixon suggested on his Patreon that Hull City and Millwall were keen along with League One duo Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town. However, he will remaining with Dean Holden’s side in the third tier.

Crystal Palace gave him the green light to head out the exit door last summer and he has since become a key player at Charlton. He has made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Addicks and has chipped in with seven goals as he looks to add more to his tally now during the second-half of the campaign.

In other news, Nixon has reported that Bristol City want Eagles defender Jake O’Brien. He has spent time with Molenbeek in Belgium along with Luke Plange this term.
