Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott. The 19-year-old is being tipped for a bright future in the game and has been a key player for the Robins in the Championship over recent times.

According to a report by The Sun, the Eagles have ‘checked’ up on the youngster. He could be seen by the London club as a potential target for the summer transfer window, with fellow Premier League side West Ham also mentioned as a suitor.

Crystal Palace could see the teenager as a long-term option in the middle of the park. Luka Milivojević and James McArthur both over 30 now and the club will be in need of some fresh blood in that department at some point.

Scott joined Bristol City back in 2020 from non-league Guernsey and has since established himself one of their most prized assets. He has made 75 appearances in all competitions and has chipped in with five goals.

The England youth international is under contract until June 2025 but Nigel Pearson’s side will face a battle to keep hold of him down the line. Crystal Palace are in the frame but there will be competition for his signature.
