Holloway, 59, has been out of the game since 2020. He last managed League Two side Grimsby Town but parted company with the Mariners after just under a year at Blundell Park.

He had spells at Bristol Rovers, QPR, Plymouth Argyle, Leicester City and Blackpool before joining Crystal Palace back in November 2012. The Eagles won promotion to the Premier League under his guidance via the play-offs after they beat Watford at Wembley.

They parted company with Holloway after a tough start to life back in the top flight. He then linked up with Millwall and spent 13 months in charge of the Lions, winning 22.6% of games.

QPR then came calling again 10 years after his first stint there. The Gloucestershire-born man spent a little under two years back with the Hoops before eventually cutting ties with them.
