Latest transfer news regarding Crystal Palace as they prepare for their next Premier League clash

Crystal Palace are reportedly keen Augsburg striker Ricardo Pepi as they keep an eye on the next transfer window. The Eagles will need to bolster their attacking department this summer and are being linked with a swoop for the Bundesliga ace already.

According to German news outlet Bild (via Sport Witness), the Eagles have ‘expressed interest’ in the youngster. Dutch pair PSV and Feyenoord have also been mentioned as potential suitors.

Crystal Palace could see the 20-year-old as one for the future at Selhurst Park. The London club need to score more goals next term with the likes of Jean-Phillipe Mateta and Odsonne Édouard not getting enough in this campaign.

Pepi joined Augsburg in January 2022 and was loaned out to FC Groningen in September last year. He has since caught the eye in the Eredivisie and has found the net 12 times in 26 outings altogether and is due to return to his parent club when this season is over.

The USA international, who has 14 caps under his belt so far, started out at local side FC Dallas. The Texas-born man then broke into their first-team before his switch over to Europe.

Crystal Palace have a big decision to make on who they want their manager to be going forward with Roy Hodgson currently covering for them. Once that situation is sorted, they can start plotting potential deals.
