Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is facing an uncertain long-term future at the club. The Senegal international has lost his place as the number one at Stamford Bridge and is being linked with a move away.

As per the Evening Standard, Italian giants AC Milan are interested along with Ligue 1 pair AS Monaco and OGC Nice. The report adds that he has rejected a contract offer from the club, with his current deal up in 2025.

Chelsea are said to be keen on Brentford stopper David Raya as competition with Kepa Arrizabalaga for the place between the sticks. The Spaniard has been in impressive form the Bees over the past couple of seasons and they could face a battle to keep hold of him.

Mendy, 30, would surely see his time with the London club come to an end if Raya ended up joining down the line. The former Rennes stopper has recently had surgery on a finger injury but his situation continues to be up in the air.

Graham Potter’s side have had a busy month as he looks to put his own stamp on the squad. Changes are expected to continue heading with both incomings and outgoings anticipated.

Elsewhere, Chelsea are apparently exploring a possible deal for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moses Caicedo, as per According to CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs. The 21-year-old is an Ecuador international.
