Chelsea are looking to turn the screw on their transfer dealings after securing the signature of Mykhaylo Mudryk despite everything pointing to a move to Arsenal.

The Blues have now turned their attention to PSV Eindhoven’s Noni Madueke as they look to revamp the Chelsea squad under Graham Potter, according to a report by the Guardian.

Chelsea have already spent £89 million on Mykhaylo Mudryk but the structure of the deals that has them spreading it across eight years allows them to still deep hold their hands in their pocket and make more signings.

The Blues will also look to offload players, including Raheem Sterling, who was bought from Manchester City this summer - but hasn’t really set Stamford Bridge alight.

Sterling has been one of the best players in the Premier League but there is a feeling that he is past his best. It will be interesting to see how the new Chelsea board go about kicking out players who have overstayed their welcome or are just not cutting it anymore.

Another player that Chelsea are looking to get rid of is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The former Arsenal captain has not replicated the form he had at Barcelona and is viewed as a Thomas Tuchel signing.

Graham Potter has struggled to restore the culture at the club but the board insist they will back him and bring in players to help him change the fortunes.
