Chelsea won 2-0 away at Fulham last time out. Mykhailo Mudryk and Alejandro Broja were on the scoresheet for the Blues at Craven Cottage.

That result will give the London club some confidence heading into their trip to Burnley. They are currently sat in 11th place in the Premier League table on eight points after two wins from their opening seven outings this season.

On the selection front, Chelsea have received a boost with Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah back in partial team training. However, it remains to be seen whether they will be fit to return against the Clarets.

Ben Chilwell, Marcus Bettinelli, Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia are all sidelined at the moment. They are continuing their respective rehabilitation processes. Meanwhile, Reece James has one more game left of his suspension.

Carney Chukwuemeka will be assessed and Mauricio Pochettino has said: “Carney was close to joining us last week. This week he was training well but I still haven’t decided because I need to check now with the medical staff after training today. We started training a little bit later so I haven’t been able to check yet, but we need to assess all the players and they are doing that now. We will see after that if we can count on him.”

As for Burnley, they are without Hjalmar Ekdal, Johann Gudmundsson, Manuel Benson, Nathan Redmond and Michael Obafemi still.
