Mauricio Pochettino makes honest Romeo Lavia admission as wait for £58m signing continues
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted for the first time that he doesn't know when summer signing Romeo Lavia will play for the club due to injury.
In the summer, the Blues beat Liverpool to his signature, signalling ultimate strength and dominance with both Lavia and Moises Caicedo snubbing the Reds and moving to west London.

Hide AdBut whereas Caicedo has settled into life already at Stamford Bridge, playing in five league games Lavia continues to struggle behind the scenes in what was first put down to lack of pre-season to now the injury list.
Asked if fans would see him after the international break, the Chelsea manager admitted it was hard to tell as he wasn't even running on the grass.
The Chelsea boss said in his press conference ahead of the game against Burnley: “ I can't tell you but I’m not sure he will be back after the international break.
“He’s not evening running.”
However, There was triple good news from the boss who confirmed that Mykhailo Mudryk and Moises Ciacedo were good to go after injury scares on Monday night.

Hide AdHe also added that captain Reece James could have played a part but for his suspension and he’ll decide with both Mudryk and Caicedo start: “Yes, both in the squad, we will decide later whether they have a chance for the start.
“It was close last week to join us. This week has trained me well, but I still have not decided, I need to check with Jesus and the medical staff as I’m straight from the training pitch and 30 minutes late, I am sorry for that.”
On Reece James, he said: “He has been back and training with the squad. We are really happy with the way he is recovering. We hope that he has the possibility to be involved after his suspension.”
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has won 85.4% of his Premier League games against promoted sides the highest ratio of any manager to take charge of at least 10 such matches.
