Chelsea will look to make it back-to-back victories in Europe this week, as the team travels to Italy to play AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Chelsea will once again be facing Serie A champions AC Milan in Europe in the away game group fixture.

The Rossoneri are currently sitting in 5th place in the Serie A table after eight games, but the gap between the the top of the table and where AC Milan are seated is only a three point difference.

AC Milan were seeded in the 2022-2023 UEFA Champions League by virtue of their domestic championship winning season in 2021-2022 so automatically entered the group stages of the competition.

The club’s last European success was in the 2007 UEFA Champions League final, where the team beat Liverpool 2-1 to lift the cup for the seventh time.
