Antalyaspor are apparently yet to receive an official bid for in-demand striker Haji Wright. The attacker has been linked with a move to the Premier League after catching the eye at the World Cup with USA.

Journalist Tom Bogert has reported on Twitter that Brentford are interested along with fellow top flight club Crystal Palace. Southampton are also believed to be keen according to Ajansspor along with Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.

However, Antalyaspor’s Technical Manager Alfons Groenendijk has revealed to Cumhuriyet: “He is a very important part of the team. If he leaves, we’ll have to buy a new striker. We hear a lot of rumours, but there is no official (offer) yet. Until then, Haji Wright is an Antalyaspor football player, and has to fight for us.”

Wright, 24, has been in fine form so far this term and has chipped in with 10 goals. The Los Angeles-born man has previously played for the likes of LA Galaxy, Schalke and VVV-Venlo.

Brentford, Crystal Palace and Southampton could all do with another forward option ahead of the second-half of the campaign and he fits the bill after his impressive performances in Qatar. However, his future continues to be up in the air with just over a week left of the window.

In other news, Brentford midfielder Paris Maghoma has joined League One side MK Dons on loan until the end of the season. He had a spell with AFC Wimbledon earlier this term in League Two and played 24 games in all competitions.
