Crystal Palace have until the end of the month to bolster their ranks. It has been a quiet January transfer window so far for the London club. Here is a look at some of the latest news and rumours coming out of the club from over the past few days...

The Eagles are reportedly poised to snap up youngster Dylan Reid from St Mirren. The Scottish Sun claim the 17-year-old midfielder, who has been tracked by Celtic, Bayern Munich and Benfica in the past, is in ‘talks’ over a six-figure switch to Selhurst Park.

First choice goalkeeper Vicente Guaita has signed a new contract until the summer of 2024. The Spaniard has played over 140 games since joining back in 2018.

The Daily Mail claim that PSG and Arsenal are admirers of Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise. However, the same report goes on to suggest that the club have no plans to lose both him and Wilfried Zaha this summer. The latter is out of contract at the end of June.

Striker Jean Philippe Mateta is being linked with a switch to Galatasaray. According to Turkish news outlet Fanatik, the Turkish Super Lig outfit are keen to snap him up. He came off the bench last time out against Newcastle United.

Barnsley were interested in Eagles youngster Luke Plange, who is currently out on loan in Belgium at RWD Molenbeek along with teammate Jake O’Brien. However, according reporter Alan Nixon on Patreon, the Tykes have been put off by his wages.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has emerged on the radar of Coventry City, as per Sports World Ghana, despite currently being on the books of Charlton Athletic. He is due to spend the rest of the campaign with the Addicks.

Scott Banks has been out of action for loan club Bradford City since Boxing Day with a shin problem. His boss Mark Hughes has told the Telegraph & Argus: “He’s only just come back to full training. He’ll need a couple of weeks but it’s good to see him back on the grass again.

“It’s resolved itself. He was just finding it a little bit uncomfortable and it dragged on a little bit. But we’ve got to the point where he’s probably still feeling something but he’s able to train fully on it. He’s just got to get on with it now.”

Malcolm Ebiowei’s move to Hull City has been completed but he continues to recover from his minor knee injury as he awaits his debut. The Tigers lost 1-0 to Sheffield United on Friday night.
