Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on Cliftonville winger Sean Moore. The youngster is attracting plenty of interest at the moment from the UK.

According to a report by the Belfast Telegraph, the Eagles are ‘monitoring’ his development over in Northern Ireland. They aren’t the only club said to be keeping an eye on him though, with fellow Premier League sides Newcastle United and Everton mentioned, along with Scottish champions Celtic and League One outfit Oxford United.

Crystal Palace could see Moore as a potential addition to their youth ranks as they keep one eye on the future. However, they will have to see off competition from elsewhere if they were to lure him down to Selhurst Park.

Moore, 17, has been on the books of Cliftonville for his whole career to date and has risen up through their academy. The Northern Ireland U18 international has made 22 appearances for the first-team in all competitions to date and has chippd in with two goals and three assists.

In other news, Carlisle United boss Paul Simpson has heaped praise on Crystal Palace after they let John-Kymani Gordon join them on loan and has told the News & Star: “Crystal Palace – we can all thank them for trusting us to look after him. Because they think highly of him. He’s been involved on their first team bench in Premier League and FA Cup games of late. He’s obviously a player they think highly of and they’re trusting us to look after him.”
