Brentford come back from the international break with a trip to Merseyside to play against Sean Dyche’s Everton as they look to make it two wins in a row after a 3-2 victory against Bournemouth in their last game before the break.
The Bees, however, have a host of injury concerns ahead of the game at Goodison Park with star players Bryan Mbuemo and Yoane Wissa doubts for the game. Their potential absence would be a massive blow to Thomas Frank as the two have combined for 15 goals so far.

The Bees have four players that are confirmed to be out on Saturday, the first being midfielder Josh DaSilva who will likely return in the new year from a knee injury that he suffered in September. Left-back Rico Henry suffered a knee injury at a similar time to DaSilva but he could return much sooner than the midfielder. Thomas Frank said last week: “We are extra cautious. When he puts his foot on the grass we want to be as sure, so there are some strength markers we need to tick to be 100 per cent sure.”
Kristoffer Ajer is also out with an ankle injury but he should return soon after the international break. He will most likely return next weekend against Leicester City as the Everton game may come too soon. Furthermore, Aaron Hickey also remains out with a thigh injury that he underwent surgery for in late August. In terms of doubts for the Bees, Igor Rodrigues could miss Saturday’s match with a knee injury. He has been back in training during the international break and will be assessed ahead of kick-off. Gustavo Gomes is also in doubt, he played an in-house game last week and will also be assessed over his availability this week.
Bryan Mbuemo, Yoane Wissa and Ethan Pinnock are all dealing with knocks that they picked up before the international break and they are being assessed. It is more likely that all three will be available with the key duo of Wissa and Mbuemo most likely to feature on Saturday which is good news for Thomas Frank.

Everton injury news
Sean Dyche’s team aren’t in a much better spot than Brentford as they could miss up to seven players on Saturday including two star players that could provide the Bees with a huge boost ahead of the game. Firstly, the game will come too soon for Tim Iroegbunam and James Garner who are dealing with an ankle injury and a back injury respectively. Both won’t be back for the Toffees until December with a return for Garner looking sooner than Iroegbunam.
Youssef Chermiti however could return for Everton this weekend as he has been dealing with a toe injury. He has been out for several months after suffering his injury during Everton’s pre-season. Seamus Coleman could also miss the game as he has a hamstring issue however it is not expected to be a major problem.
Armando Broja is yet to make his first appearance since joining from Chelsea in the summer due to a calf issue. His recovery has been positive however and there is a chance that Dyche could have the striker available to him against Brentford. He is back in training and will be assessed ahead of the game.
