Brentford have been linked with a move for in-form Blackpool attacker Jerry Yates. The former Rotherham United man is in confident mood at the moment and has scored nine goals so far this season. The Sun have reported that Thomas Frank’s side are interested in him, whilst a more recent update by Football Insider suggest he valued at £4million.
Winger eyeing Spain move
Sergi Canos has expressed his desire to return to Spain one day. He has told Marca: “I see myself in La Liga. I love how it is and how it is evolving. I don’t know if it will be sooner or later, but I would like to play in Spain. Every year I’m looking forward to it more and more.”
Defender wanted in Scandinavia
Malmo sports director Andreas Georgson has revealed that he would be interested in signing Bees defender Pontus Jansson in the future. The Sweden international started his senior career with the Allsvenskan outfit. Georgson has said, as per Sydsvenskan (Fotbollskanalen): “His passion for this club is very great and his skill is high. If we find a way, that would be fantastic. If we don’t find it, it’s understandable. He plays in the world’s best league and is team captain.”
When asked whether they talk about a return, he said: “Yes, all the time. He is close to us.”

Brentford are due a boost on the injury front. Midfielder Christian Norgaard is expected to return for the trip to Nottingham Forest, as per West London Sport. He has been out with an achilles issue for the past couple of months.
Keane Lewis-Potter came off the bench against Wolves after missing out of the squad against Aston Villa. The summer recruit from Hull City is still waiting for his first league goal.
