Arsenal beat rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 over the weekend to boost their title hopes. The Gunners are now eight points above 2nd place Manchester City in the table. Next up is a home clash against Manchester United this Sunday. In the meantime, here is a look at some of the latest news and rumours regarding the club...

Winger eyed

Arsenal have reportedly turned to Barcelona winger Raphinha after missing out on signing Mykhailo Mudryk to rivals Chelsea. The Brazil international has struggled to make an impact in La Liga after his summer switch from Leeds United. As per a report by the Evening Standard, he has been identified as an ‘alternative’ option by Mikel Arteta’s side.

Attacker emerges as other option

The Gunners have apparently been ‘offered’ the chance to land Brighton and Hove Albion attacker Leandro Trossard, as per the Independent. He is facing an uncertain future with the Seagulls between now and the end of the transfer window. The Belgium international has scored seven goals in 17 games in all competitions so far this season.

Goalkeeper leaves

Arsenal goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo has completed a loan switch to Sturm Graz. The 21-year-old, who has been on the books at the Emirates Stadium since 2009, has spent the first-half of this campaign with Crewe Alexandra in League Two and was a hit with the Cheshire club, playing 26 times altogether. He has now made the temporary move to Austria to test himself in another league on a deal until the summer.
