Arsenal continued to show clear indications their development under Mikel Arteta with an impressive performance in their 2-0 win at North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Just eight months have passed since Antonio Conte’s side simply overpowered the Gunners and went a long way to pipping Arteta’s men to a place in this season’s Champions League. But the tables were turned on Sunday afternoon as Arsenal took another step towards a first Premier League title since 2003 as first-half goals from Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard extended their lead at the top of the table to eight points.
There were several eye-catching performances from the men in red, with the goalscorers more than playing their part in their side’s first win on Spurs soil since Tomas Rosicky got the only goal in a 1-0 win at White Hart Lane in 2014 - but who else was on form for the Gunners as they claimed a big three points?
