Jamie Carragher says Arsenal will need '90 points' to win Premier League title

Jamie Carragher believes that Arsenal will need '90 points' if they want to win the Premier League title this season over Liverpool and Manchester City. With 64 points on the board and 30 still to play for, this means the Gunners can only afford to drop four more points.

On how many points will be required to win the Premier League title this season, Carragher said to The Overlap [via Football365]: "I actually think 90 points. I was looking at the points on the international break and what you might need to do. I think 90 points.

"That would be Liverpool dropping four points from where they are, Man City dropping four points, I actually think everyone is looking at Arsenal’s fixtures and thinking I could see Arsenal dropping more than four points with the away games they have got."

Gunners interested in AC Milan's Ismael Bennacer

Arsenal have an interest in AC Milan midfielder, according to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato. He isn't thought to be too expensive, either - the Gunners could acquire his services for as little as £43 million in the summer.

Despite this, the report also mentions that Arsenal could face 'competition' for the Algerian international. It does not name the clubs in question - but given his alleged value, bidding for Bennacer could be fierce when the transfer window opens its doors.
