Arsenal to rival Man Utd for prolific Monaco defender
Arsenal will rival Manchester United and Chelsea in the race for Monaco defender Axel Disasi.
The Daily Mail reports that the Red Devils remain front runners to sign the 25-year-old as Erik ten Hag opens up talks with the Frenchman. Should any deal fail to be pushed over the line, Mikel Arteta is believed to be ready to open up negotiations.

Disasi could be the confident and influential centre-back that Arteta is looking to add to the Gunners squad this summer with the player picking up six goals and four assists from his position last season.

Granit Xhaka may not be only midfielder to leave Arsenal this summer
Arsenal are listening to offers from Juventus for midfielder Thomas Partey in a bid to free up space and fees for Declan Rice.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported that the Italian giants had been in touch with Arsenal over Partey's availability. The latest interest comes after Saudi Arabian clubs are believed to have offered €40 million in instalments for the 30-year-old's services.
Partey made 33 Premier League appearances for Arsenal last term and his departure, along with the expected transfer of Granit Xhaka, would leave Arteta having to shape a new-look midfield ahead of the upcoming campaign.
